How do I link ChatGPT?

Open My Thoughs, go to Connections, and follow the instructions to connect ChatGPT. Keep the app open while using memories.

Why isn't my phone reachable?

Memory reads need your linked phone to be online and My Thoughs open. If the phone isn't reachable, check your internet connection and reopen the app. Reads do not return stale results while it is offline.

What does Background connection do?

On Android, enable Background connection in Settings to keep the encrypted connection available while the app is in the background. The system displays an ongoing notification while it is active.

How do I unlink ChatGPT?

Open Connections in My Thoughs and choose Unlink. This revokes authorization, removes the pairing, and clears queued writes.

How do I delete my data?

Use Delete all memories in the app's Settings to remove the on-device memory database. Unlinking also removes relay pairing information and clears queued writes. Previously exported files and information already sent to ChatGPT are not removed.
